01.学校简介

中山大学新闻传播学院创建于2003年，以“人文新媒体、融创传播学”为学科定位，形成了“以通识教育为基础，以创意教育为中心，以实践教学为重点”的办学特色。学院以马克思主义新闻观为指导，致力于培养社会主义核心价值观的宣传者、传播者和倡导者；培养具有坚定马克思主义信仰，坚持正确方向、弘扬社会进步、掌握主流话语权的新闻工作者和传播管理者。学院倡导“实训、实践、实验”教学理念，建设了纪实摄影实验室、大数据传播实验室、未来媒体实验室、交互媒体设计中心等实验室集群，以及谷河青年、公共传播工作室等实践平台，拥有省级实验示范教学中心，是广东省卓越新闻传播人才培养基地。

学院开设新闻学和传播学本科专业，两个专业均入选“双万计划”国家级一流本科专业建设点。拥有新闻传播学一级学科博士学位授权点，拥有1个部级科研基地、2个省级科研基地、4个市级科研基地，在国家高端智库中山大学粤港澳发展研究院、中山大学国家治理研究院等智库机构承担重要角色，主要围绕数字新闻业研究、大数据与公共传播、视觉传播与交互设计等跨学科方向开展研究。

学院现有专任教师、专职研究人员、博士后近40人，多数师资具有国际学术背景。2020年参评第五轮学科评估，学科排名进一步提升，迎来高质量发展的重要机遇。

03.招聘岗位及具体要求

1）教研岗教师

①长聘教授：具有高深的学术造诣，在人才培养或学术研究方面取得国内外公认的标志性重大成就和贡献；在国内外具有重要影响力和学术地位，具有带领本学科赶超或引领国际先进水平的能力；具有突出的团队领导和组织协调能力。年龄原则上不超过55周岁。

②长聘副教授：具有较高的学术造诣，在人才培养或学术研究方面取得国内外广泛认可的创新性成就和贡献；在国内外具有较强影响力和学术地位，具有保持本学科国内外先进水平的能力；成为本学科领域独立学术带头人。年龄原则上不超过45周岁。

③预聘副教授：具有较强的科学研究和技术创新能力，在人才培养或学术研究方面取得高水平成果；在国内外具有一定的专业影响力；具有成为本学科领域学术带头人或优秀学者的发展潜力。年龄原则上不超过40周岁。

④预聘助理教授：具有广阔的学术视野、活跃的创新思维和扎实的研究基础；取得较高水平的专业成果；学术发展潜力较大。人文社会科学学科的年龄原则上不超过38周岁。

2）博士后

博士后：年龄在35周岁以下，获得博士学位不超过3年，熟悉高等教育规律，了解国内外高等教育情况，具备国际化的学术视野，具备较高的学术水平和较强的科研能力的国内外优秀博士。

01.About the School

Founded in 2003 and located at the bustling “university town” of Guangzhou, China, the School of Journalism and Communication at Sun Yat-sen University positions itself at the forefront of conducting cutting-edge interdisciplinary teaching and research at the intersection of new media, technology, and humanities. The school houses three departments (i.e., Journalism, Public Communication, and Creative Media Design)and has 40+ full-time faculty members and research associates, most of whom hold doctoral degrees in various disciplines of the social and natural sciences from prestigious Chinese and overseas universities.

The school offers two bachelor’s degree programs respectively on journalism and communication (both elected to the “Double First-Class” Initiative), four master’s degree programs (including one on international communication), and a doctoral degree program on Journalism and Communication.

The school is home to research institutes in many levels, including the Sun Yat-sen University Research Center for the Internet Governance, Guangdong Key Laboratory for Big Data Analysis and Simulation of Public Opinion, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Research Center for International Communication, Guangzhou Big Data and Public Communication Research Base, the Guangzhou Educational Center for Youth Talents of Marxist Theory, Guangzhou Live Streaming Commerce Institute, and the Sun Yat-sen University Research Base for Creative City Governance etc. The school is in close affiliation with national think tanks including the Sun Yat-sen University Research Institute for the Development of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau and the Sun Yat-sen University Research Institute for National Governance. The school also features three laboratories respectively on computational communication, virtual reality, and documentary production that support teaching, learning, and research with state-of-art facilities.

Tenure-track Faculty

① Professor (Tenured):

Strong academic performance, and have made significant achievements and contributions in talent cultivation or academic research that have been recognized both domestically and internationally；have significant influence and academic status both domestically and internationally, able to lead the discipline field in striving towards or reaching globally leading standards；have outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Under 55 years old.

② Associate Professor (Tenured):

Relatively strong academic performance, and have made achievements and contributions in talent cultivation or academic research that have been widely recognized both domestically and internationally；have strong influence and academic status at home and abroad, able to maintain the academic standards of the discipline field；able to become an independent academic leader in the discipline field. Under 45 years old.

③ Associate Professor (Tenure-track):

Strong scientific research and technological innovation capabilities, with high-level achievements in talent cultivation or academic research；have some academic influence both domestically and internationally；have the potential to become an academic leader or outstanding scholar in the discipline field. Under 40 years old.

④ Assistant Professor (Tenure-track):

Have a broad academic horizon, strong innovative thinking skills and a solid research foundation；able to achieve high-level academic results；have substantial potential for academic development. Under 38 years old.

Post-doctoral Fellows

Under 35 years old, have received doctoral degree of no more than 3 years, be familiar with the rules of higher education system and the state of higher education both domestically and abroad；possess an international academic vision, high academic standards and strong scientific research ability.
