Introduction

Founded in 1933, South China Normal University (SCNU) is a key comprehensive university jointly supported by Guangdong Province and China’s Ministry of Education. Requirements

Applicants should have made substantial fundamental and original scientiﬁc contributions, pioneered research, and achieved signiﬁcant theoretical breakthroughs in their disciplines. Those with exceptional original scientiﬁc achievements, outstanding teaching and research performance, and international academic leadership are also preferred. The age limit is 55 in principle.

3. Research Funding: Research start-up funds will be negotiated according to actual needs.

Applicants should be professors, associate professors, or equivalent distinguished scholars at research institutions or universities in China or abroad. III. Top Young Scholars

Requirements

Applicants should have peer-recognized original scientiﬁc research achievements and the potential to secure national talent grants. For natural science disciplines, applicants should generally be no older than 40, and for arts, philosophy, humanities, and social science disciplines, the age limit is 45.

Remuneration and Beneﬁts

1. Position: Priority appointment as a tenured professor.

2. Remuneration: (1) the base annual salary of 420,000 RMB-720,000 RMB, (2) the high-level representative achievements beyond the appointment of the task will be rewarded separately; (3) college allowance will be calculated separately.

3. Housing Support: We oﬀer either a housing subsidy of 24,000 RMB per year or assistance in applying for a temporary apartment to meet your transitional housing needs.

4. Children's Schooling: Children will gain admission to the ﬁrst- class and prestigious kindergartens and primary schools aﬃliated with SCNU. The kindergarten and primary school are situated right on the university campus.

V. Class II Young Scholars

Requirements

Remuneration and Beneﬁts

1. Position: Special Appointed Associate Research Fellow, Tenure- Track.

2. Remuneration: (1) A basic annual salary of 320,000 RMB; (2) Separate rewards for high - level representative achievements beyond task appointments; (3) College allowances calculated separately.

3. Housing Support: We oﬀer a yearly rental subsidy of 24,000 RMB or provide postdoctoral apartment.

VI. Postdoctoral Researchers

Requirements

Applicants should generally be no older than 32 and hold a doctoral degree. They are also expected to have a strong academic background, along with notable scientific achievements and growth potential.
Remuneration and Beneﬁts
1. Position: Special Appointed Associate Research Fellow, two appointments (with the ﬁrst appointment two years), Tenure-Track.
2. Remuneration: (1) A basic annual salary of 300,000 RMB, among which the postdoctoral co-supervisor will provide not less than

30,000 RMB/year; (2) Separate rewards for high - level representative achievements beyond task appointments; (3) College allowances calculated separately.

Other Support
1. Assist in applying for provincial and municipal high-level talent programs.

2. Support in applying forlocal talent apartments.

3.Enjoy personal income tax preferential policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. For talents meeting relevant conditions, the government provides financial subsidies for the portion of personal income tax paid in Guangzhou exceeding 15% oftaxable income, exempt from personal income tax.

4.
